Looking for a spare 12v in DE Star Wars
« on: August 24, 2013, 05:57:48 PM »
Trying to do I little modding to my star wars however to complete it I need to get 12v from somewhere.

Any ideas on where the best place is. Looked around with my multimeter but so far haven't had any luck   @@^

Cheers

You also need to know how much current your mod will require (IE - amps or milliamps).

To be frank the 12V available in most machines of this era is flat out keeping up with the demands of the machine - there isn't much headroom.

You may be better off using an external plugpack or similar and keeping the mod seperate from the machine electronics.....just a thought.
