Looks like Rudd is in for a fight to win his own electorate. That will make the LNP victory even sweeter. #*#

Looking forward to seeing the bigger mess that Abbott makes. Of course, every problem will be because they inherited it from Labor's mismanagement.

Watch out KRudd - Bill Shorten still owns those steak knives !

You just don't know who you will get - Could it be Kevin, or Julia, or whoever else Bill dislikes ? Just ask Kevin - but as he states - "I just don't have the ****en patience"..

I'm seriously considering voting informally for the first time ever.

I can't bring myself to vote for Labor at this election but to simply vote Liberal because I don't want to vote Labor means they get my vote by default.

What's worse is Abbott is going to lead this country by default because the Labor party has been such a rabble.  All the Coalition need to do is keep their mouth shut and not say or do too much wrong and they are in (pretty much what they are doing).  Whilst I dislike a lot of the Labor politicians I think Abbott is a fool.  If Turnball was leader I would have an easier time voting for them.  We need strong political parties and leaders on both sides of politics so that elections are won and governments are run on policy by parties with clear visions and stances.  Right now I only see Liberal's as putting themselves forward by effectively saying "vote for us because we are not Labor".

I mean look at the Liberal election ads, their platform is:

We'll stop the boats
We'll end Labors waste
We'll scrap the carbon tax
We'll build better roads and fix the bottlenecks (WTF?)
We'll build a stronger economy.

Seriously they are all bloody motherhood statements with no substance.  I can honestly say other than the paid parental leave scheme (which I think is too generous) I have no idea what they stand for and what their policies are, other than they're not labor and they will be devils advocate to anything labor did.  I wanna know how they are gonna do the above things and how they are gonna fund it. We   I wanna know how what they propose is going to effect me before I vote for them but we are going to get their costings for things today - 2 days before the election, that's BS.

On the flip side Labor has really pissed me off with their antics and some $hit policy that has directly effected me and my business, so I simply can't vote for them.  I hate Bill Shorten too and no doubt he is eyeing off the top job.  I'm not voting for any independents since they have bloody hamstrung this government in the last term by holding the balance of power to push their own agendas.  Maybe I can vote for Clive Palmer - NOT!  lol

Voting informal looks like the only way to go.

The one predictable point will be the increase to the politician's salary and superfund. That's the only policy that they don't back flip on !
