On the playfield or in the light box (Back box) or both?

First to check will be your playfield fuse. With the machine off at the wall, remove the fuse and inspect.

Pretty sure the playfield lights on a WILLIAMS are fed through the 'HOLD" relay... one side does the back box... another the playfield

Check the "lock relay" and check the connectors on lower panel they may be corroded

+1 on the lock relay, also check the 'Bounce' switch or the 'Kick' switch as known on a Williams machine!

Thank you all for your assistance. It was the lock relay, a wire was barely connected.
