WTB TAF The Addams Family in project/Resto condition
« on: November 10, 2013, 05:01:03 PM »
Hey guys

Looking for one of these to add to my collection.

Qld preferable but all locations considered.

Anyone got one local brisbane to play even,

quite a few years since I've played a Taf.. &&

it surprises me that so few of these come up for sale compared to the other super pins.

With 22k odd being made they should be everywhere!

Working or not no problem as long as price reflects condition.

cheers Peter..

Sounds like you need to contact importers and ask for an "as is" or dare I say it - A pinball "straight out the container". This will be cheaper, but risky. I've never seen a project Addams for sale via eBay etc etc.

There is an Addams Family at the Yatala Drive In which wasn't plugged in when I was there the other day. It looks to be in average condition. Not sure who owns it.

One of the dealers up here had 9 and wouldnt sell me one, even a bad one  !@#

Apparently selling before he can finish them..

DSB Will have to get down to the old Yatala drive in and check it out...

That would be right. They rarely sell "as is" TAFs - but it was worth trying !

wasn't one of the guys selling a minty one from Adelaide...I saw a post the other day on here...look under machines for sale.....it was like 6 grand n had stacks brand new parts...I thought it was a bargain...

by the time u buy a project for 4000 or 4500, its going to cost you a good 1500 usually to make it minty, and if it needs cabinet redecalling etc, even more $.

the one the member was selling on here for 6 grand looked like a bargain to me.

??? anyone want to share/find the link ?  it looked like a beauty.

worth every cent n the member is well known and a decent bloke by the sounds of it.
