That's right... CONTAINER DAY!!!!!
This isn't my container.. I piggy backed onto an existing one. Took a long time to come to fruition, but games are finally here.
I get the call at 10am... Container has landed!.. that's about 3 hrs early so I stop what im doing and whizz off to site... by time I get there, theres already a big dent in the unloading
All machines are individually wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard.. awesome stuff..
Ha ha... mine are right at the back!
Drove them home in 2 utes and had them unloaded and unwrapped in 1/2 hour.
Heres the 3 pins I brought in..
First.. GTB WORLD CHAMP... this is the "unknown" Add A Ball version and has a slightly different backglass.. its very very rare and rumoured to only be 1 of 10 made.
Then we have a WMS ROCKET.. been after this title for many years. it came up out of the blue and I snapped it up in an instant heart pumping!
Machine came with a spare plexi glass.. original is in there but this was an extra I didn't know about... not too happy as to how it was attached though as when I peeled off the tape I lost a bit of artwork.
Next up.. GTB ROCKET SHIP... stunning machine, artwork alone this is a beauty to look at.
I also picked up this gem... apparently its not staying in the house but it is WAY cool!!!!
And then I had a 6 player 1951 shuffle game... didn't quite know what to do with this as its bloody long at nearly 3 metres and there really is no room. Solution?? chuck it on top of the OTHER shuffle you have!! Ha Ha!!!
Also in the haul I had a head for a GTB SOUTHERN BELLE.. I picked up a body some 6 or 7 years ago and thanks to my pal Dan Kramer the head was donated to the cause.. cheers mate!!
Plus repro glasses for CAPT FANTASTIC and MYSTIC MARVEL.... let the restorations continue!
