..... this company is called bgresto.com    They have a serious web site showing many backglasses that they have done or repaired. I've emailed them 4 times now, to ask about an 'Ace High' backglass (which they have already done). They even have pictures of it on the web site. They just DON'T ANSWER my emails about this. Can anyone provide me with some info on this company, like why they don't answer emails??? Thanks, Mark

If a company does not answer emails then they are not worth pursuing

I got a response from them about a month ago. I said i was interested in a multiple buy. Might not be interested in single sales to Australia??. I may be interested in sharing postage. But i am in Junee, which is near Wagga in NSW.

I'm part of a group buy with bgresto (but organised via an AA member)

Steve did not respond to my email either .. but I think it might also be how you word the email .. I reckon you need to enquire about 'restoring your backglass' not 'buying a backglass'  !@#

Thanks guys for the feedback. ... I'm definitely interested in sharing postage or going in with others on a 'group buy'. I'll try again and use the word 'restore' rather than 'buy'. ...BUT the reason I haven't gone down that path is that I currently have the Ron & Nancy Web backglass (8.5-9) in my machine. ... BUT as some of you will know, this backglass is not all that faithful to the original art. I firstly have no need to get this one repaired, and secondly, I wouldn't do it anyway, as the artwork is not close enough to the original.
When I saw the pics of this glass on the website, it was done absolutely true to the original and I thought 'Wow. ... Here's a chance to get a repro glass that's true to the original art'. .... I never thought I'd ever see one done for a woodrail!! ... I'll try again and see if I can get response. Does anyone know this guy's name?? Mark

..... I sent Steve (bgresto.com) another email today, and mentioned the offer to put my order with a multiple order (as mentioned to me on this thread). I also explained to Steve why my current backglass (the Ron & Nancy web repro) is probably not suitable for 'restoring' as its artwork is not all that close to Roy Parker's original art. I have 'pleaded' with Steve to consider making one for me, and explained that it could be grouped together with other backglasses from a member of Aussie Arcade. .... Sorry, but I don't know the name of the member who offered this to me .... but thanks for the offer. (I sent you a personal message). So, now I wait to see if he answers me at all. Pinball restoration is a funny business at times. Thanks for all the help on this topic. We'll see. Cheers, Mark
