Bally triac
« on: November 24, 2013, 07:14:17 PM »
Hi,
I have two of these triacs (i think there triacs) mounted on the plate in the bottom cab of my elektra machine. I have noticed one is bent and pulled away from it's mounting.
I do have a issue with my lower playfeild not working and my cloud lights on the back glass.
I am interested to no what these are triacs or not.
How to test these ( currently have the boards away on holidays getting cleaned up). So can not power up.
What part numbers they are as there shown in the schematics but there is no info on them. ie: part number.
We're I can by some from. Don't think these particular components are made any more.
If you canot buy them what part is used instead.
Is there anybody who can help me with any if these questions.

I have found I think a replacement part.

NTE5673

Original part I think was.

TO-48 case 200V 15A TRIAC

Just wondering if any body in oz has some for sale. Or am I having to go overseas.

I would be using a more modern equiv rather than that WW2 device:

Replacement Pinball PCBs that remain faithful to the originals
