OK, I have seen the video now.
First impresions, its no where as bad as some are saying.
The tie-in with the guy with the military haircut is that the orig pony car was aimed at ex-military men/baby boomers cashed up who wanted to spend some of their savings on something really fun. It seems like the ads author/writer is aiming at people who are cashed up and want to spend their savings on fun things, ie - the car or the pinball.
Maybe they are still wanting to throw an ad out there that is similar in design to the one that came out 40 plus yrs ago.
Maybe they are cashing in, or trying to cash in on the some 400,000 service personnel getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan finally. Who knows. They have tried a military type tie-in, but its a bit obscure.
Its colourful, and except for the military haircut, its a good ad. Not as bad as some had made out.
The military haircut is the norm in the USA I guess, but if ya barber did that to u in the land of OZ, you would cut his balls off.lol
The ads fine except the vagina shaped haircut.
