Computer savvy members required..
« on: December 08, 2013, 01:09:45 PM »
Wonder if anyone can help me here... I tried to download the Ashes live to my computer which didn't work but it did leave QV06 on my computer as my start up page.
Ive done everything to get rid of this irritating page but just cant shift it.

What I have is Google as my home page, but if I start up IE then it goes to QV06.. if I click the HOME icon it goes to Google. Seems to me that I have some code installed that prevents my computer from opening up the home page automatically..

Anyone know what I need to do to get rid of this bloody page??

Aha! I had previously tried most of those and spybot... none of them worked... However, at the bottom is Junkware removal tool... and this did the trick!

Cheers... problem now solved

Keep a copy of Malwarebytes removal tool on your desktop.

It's free.  *%*

Just run a full system scan and this will catch it (and any other malicious software.)

I use Malwarebytes as well as SUPERAntiSpyware.
