Congrats Peter on another top pick. You're gonna have a start up a stern pinball club and become the president. I know its early days but how does it compare to your acdc that is your favourite? Do you think it will have as big a rule set?

What do you mean? I'm already the sell appointment president lol well at least the ACDC pinball fan club  *)*

Peter

This is definitely true. You are Stern's greatest ambassador for AC/DC!

BB led flashers simple but effective

Speakers have LEDs behind them with a blue cover :-)

BB side lit plagues

Stainless steel speaker panel tilted back to minimise glare

Laser star projector which is an awesome feature it's the white thing near the sticker

Main ship next to it is a asteroid which has a led flasher built in pointing at ship

looks nice, thought I saw a glow from the backbox in earlier pictures  ^^^, how is the backbox - does it wrap around from the top to the bottom in steel. Just want to hope nothing shorts out otherwise a good option.

Only the rear panel of the backbox is steel. I noticed that the backbox flashers are disabled when the coin door is opened and in attract mode.
Great player, fast with amazing flow. Only one dead spot that I hate is the slow pop bumper exit. The ball gets stuck here a lot due to the small exit angle.
There are bits of many other machines to reminsce on in ST but the bits are subtle. Collectively they make up one hell of an amazing playing machine.

Forgot to mention at last stern have put good quality shiny balls in it :-) met and acdc where a disgrace. Backbox design is sexy I like how the chrome trim curves under and over the box no visible joins :-) sitting here having a beer looking at it turned off it still looks great with the mirrored BG and stainless speaker panel. Jady it does have a little glare but it's better alot better. The small pop bumper exit does slow the ball down but it does help me hit the warp ramp I've hit four in a row.

It does look like a nice game even from the cabinet perspective. Some nice new bling stuff from stern. I like the cabinet flashers.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

The Leds on this thing are stunning. The thing is, when you play, they are properly used to help guide you through the missions rather than blind you for show. ST is also stunning to look at in attract mode, especially side on. Definitely stands out in a crowd. The colours and artwork are well blended and nothing looks like an afterthought add-on. Sounds and call outs are also well integrated.
Peter, the first thing I noticed were the shiny balls, Stern must have got the message.
That warp shot looks awfully steep, I only managed 3 in a row and warp 7 in a whole game. You need to time it right with that top flipper. The lower left lock is a bugger to master and together with the left outlane kicker reminds me of Firepower. The lit kicker will miss a fast ball, just like on FP.  Looking at the cabinet and mid playfield colours reminds me of Bally ST and there are subtle hints of Black Hole, Spider Man, Flash and Iron Man. Probably some other titles there also which I have not played.
Very happy with this purchase, a gamble sight unseen but I trust the flow master.

Just beat the grand champion Gary Stern's 75 mil with 82 mil on 3 ball. Only managed to get to 7 missions.
