Only started listening to this a few days ago after I heard it mentioned on Coast 2 Coast AND Pinball Podcast, only halfway through but loving it so far. Great to hear some Aussie accents talk about pinball!

I would like to listen to it if it had nothing to do with Apple or I could just download it without having to "join" anything - I get far too much junk mail and messages and "register here" as it is.

You can download it here without needing iTunes:
http://www.pinheadz.com.au/podcast/ppp001-welcome-to-the-first-episode-of-the-pinheadz-pinball-podcast/

:)

That just gives me the message:

You should be able to right-click the "download" link and "save as" or download the MP3. That should work in any browser, I'd think.

Just download the file by clicking on the "download" button and play it as you would play an mp3 file. Apple won't be able to steal your soul, trust me.

G'day Mike, hope you're well mate & hope you get to take a listen...you get some pretty big wraps in this Ep! If you're still having any worries just click in the STITCHER link below in my signature - you can stream or download without any Apple involvement. Anyway, good seeing you in Newy - look forward to catching up in 2014. Cheers Rod

I think this will be a definite Swinks! I'll work on it for Ep3 or 4  ^^^

Thanks Shane! Hopefully the accents aren't too much for the international listeners...I know I've seen the odd Aussie on US TV with subtitles underneath.  #@#

A truly humbling review...we really appreciate it! Cheers

What sort of setup are you using to record this? The quality is great...I'd be interested in hearing what sort of microphones you used! It's been a while since I've done any recording, but for podcasts I've got two Audio Technica AT3035s and run them into a little Yamaha desk, then to whatever I'm recording on.

Thanks BuzzMoo, the show is taped in the CANBERRA FM building where I work. I'll take a shot of the studio & some of the gear for you when we head in to record Ep2 next week.  ^^^

Thanks again to everyone for the positive response to our first Ep...& your encouragement to keep going has us really pumped to get back in there in tape Ep2!
Cheers Rod, Gaz & Pintech Stevie!

No matter what I try it keeps telling me I must download iTunes??? (which I will never do while my arse points to the ground)

Surely there is a simpler way of distributing this?

Mike, must be your dodgy setup.... ha

Do you want me to upload to dropbox for you? (170MB)

Also, Rod this is a champion effort. We left home for our 1100km Christmas drive to family at 1am, so in the wee hours of the morning whilst dodging Kangaroos between Charters Towers and Emerald, it kept me alert and interested - really good relaxed commentary and info!

Thanks Rob, much appreciated mate...not that I think my effort is a patch on yours though - 1100km drive?!?! When I used to drive across to Charters for the Drive In Theatre there were more roos on the way than cars. Travel safe - I'll be up there later in the year...I'll give you a yell if you're about. Cheers Rod

Now to have a listen!
