pop bumper issue
« on: January 26, 2014, 11:53:47 PM »
Got my tz pf swap done and dusted but one pop bumper is somewhat unresponsive. I am thinks the skirt may be the issue in that the spoon may not be sitting central to it. I notice the skirt is tilted downwards on one side which is the least sensitive part of the bumper. Am I heading in the right direction or could it be something else? If hit well by the ball it activates, the problem is generally on a slow touch by the ball.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

Could be as simple as the switch needing cleaning/regapping.
I've had this issue on some of my games in the past and cleaning the switch contacts fixed the problem.

And yes the stem on the bumper skirt needs to be central in the spoon, as if it's off center it can also cause similar symptoms to what you describe.
