Its quite comical. I ask is anyone going, and supposedly grown men sit back n throw rocks.lol

A simple yes or no would have worked.

From the sounds of it, its amazing someone on here hasn't called out the priest to perform an exorcism on Garry himself.

Gee, the guy owns n runs a pinball company n the negative go nowhere types just throw rocks from a distance n bag the man. And to think some people had changed from negative wastes to positive in 2014. Nope.  %.% %.% %.%

$.$ The man has a business that employs many many people in a very tuff industry ,when some one does that for many years , in his own country and employs his fellow country men/women. Mate he is a LEGEND. We can do with some of them in Australia. When you employ people you are putting back into your country . Very E Z to bag these people but not many can fill their shoes.

Wish I could be there for the pin/comp/gathering... GO N.S.W  ...
together we stand divided we fall..               hope all going enjoy
cheers bigdog

Well said Big Dog. Gary has kept pinball alive for sure. (so do the people who fully restore machines, but nothing is as good as opening up a brand new in box).
GS is a talented bloke with lots of great staff. Stern products are now world class in my opinion. Just play any of the last 3 or 5 titles n then compare them to someone who has dozens n dozens of the best from the 1990's and u see Stern is doing well to keep us all interested.

Well done for all pinball.

Yeah, I'm not his biggest fan but you can't argue that he's done well to keep things going for the inevitable resurgence we're currently experiencing. It's a shame there are some theories I wish he wouldn't cling to so strongly (like the whole "licensed-only" think) but if we only have to put up with the occasional Avengers to receive Star Trek, I can deal with it :)

Needs to work on managing code updates, though!

I'll still be seeing him talk in Texas next month. I'm not going just to see him (not when God aka Steve Ritchie is there) but as long as he doesn't bring up the "easy to learn, hard to master" mantra *again*, I'm sure his presentation will be worthwhile.

Whoa there, Avengers is not a bad machine. I have AC/DC, Star Trek and Hulk. The most addictive of the 3 is the Hulk. There are some very tight and precise shots which require lots of practice and skill. Yes, the other 2 have flow, but to bash the sheet, especially in multi-ball, Hulk is my favourite.Underated sleeper for sure.
