i have used many companies, including furnature removalists i the early days.depot to depot works well for me as i then use a local courior from depot to my house.I have a ute, however the courior only charges $70 for adelaide to mid-murry,70km.

COPE don't live up to their name. They can't COPE with door to door any longer as they are moving to a new system and will only have bigger trucks not suited to residential areas.

It seems EVERYONE is moving to a new system or service. If you are currently a "long serving COPE customer" they will still look after you. For now.

Moving on to Blue Star Logistics - You need to spend $3000 per month or they won't even create an account for you. You have to use "prepaid" - which I found was an unreal price to Adelaide of $176. That's cheaper that e-go and it is door to door !

Next is a couple of removalists - as they take a lot of care !

If Blue Star is the one on the highway between Somerton and Craigieburn I would not touch them with a 10ft poll. We used them for a month app and I honestly dont think there was a day went buy we didnt have problems and damages. In 1 month they damaged more than what i have seen in 10 years at my current place of work as storeman.

We have found a reasonable Removalist that only does SA - VIC runs. Door to Door with tail lift and 2 men. Won't be going to a depot. It might end up a little pricey, but for restored games, this is the preferred method. I received a game via E-Go this afternoon, and the way they just "dropped" the game into my ute and didn't help lift the game off the pallet (as it was too long for my ute) annoyed me - but you get what you pay for. The game will be fine, but they all seem to be rushed..

I've been told to stay away from them as well.

TOLL looks promising.

Sounds like a good oertunity for a career change. makesit hard though not knowing how many machines roughly have tobe moved per week. or where from- to. some of the prices you gave Brett wouldhardly cover fuel(if your only transpoorting one pin)
I'm not cranky, I just want MORE pins!

When I have used TNT for 5 years, always a semi full of other stuff and they are making a mint.
Same with Wally, who Rob from BikeCity uses all the time, he has always had a full run with both truck n massive truck size trailer chok o blok full so they are making reasonable coin, certainly enough to make it worth their while.

Its not worth anyone doing a long distance run with only a machine so to speak, hence the trucks always being semi trailer or close sizes etc.

I have delivered pins all over the Gold Coast and into Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Northern NSW etc, all within a 200 klm distance, and I have charged anything from $80 to $150, $200 max to cover myself n fuel and a helper who gets some fun and $50 in his pocket for a pinball adventure, but its always been for those who want a door to door pin delivery in a specialised trailer.
But when it comes to distances further, TNT or E-Go or Wally is the go !
