Sling not working
« on: March 29, 2014, 06:06:21 PM »
Has been some time since I've had issues with any of my pins.

The right flipper ONLY fires when a ball is launched into the shooter lane. ONLY.

During game play it doesn't fire at all. Have been into the coil test and no problem there. What else do I need to look for please.

What does it register in switch test?  Make sure to empty all balls first

Closed sling switch? Should be open slightly. Ball launch might be enough vibration to briefly break the contact.
Agreed with MJ, do a switch test and check.
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

The contacts look be to touching for sure. Is there some sort of method to get them slightly apart at all? Do I just bend them slightly from the top.

Will do a switch test as well. See what it does.

Not registering in switch test. Left sling no problem. Guess this is because of the contacts touching.

Correct dude, you can try with long nose pliers, but, use a leaf adjusting tool is the right way.
Maybe just start with your fingers and they only need to be slightly apart and do a switch test again.
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.
