Poor design or just a fluke?
« on: April 05, 2014, 03:50:34 PM »
Magic pinball gets perfectly stuck between a bumper and kicker forever

Has anyone else experienced solenoid burn out due to repetitive ball action?

If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.

Funny that  :D
I would like to hear from Pinbot owners, because mine does a very similar thing at the top left bumper have to nudge the pin up to get the ball out, wonder if the oring is to tight   #@#

May be so, but years ago I saw similar strange things happening in arcades. Pop bumpers close to rubber or kick out holes that were either too strong or weak showed repetitive ball movement. Bally Playboy was one which I can remember where the top left kickout was too weak and kept repeating.

That was going like a machine gun, over 100 pops in 10 seconds. And how rude where it shot it in the end. I saw something similar on a Paragon once.
