Tim and Stuart did an AMAZING job. This cabinet is just about the HARDEST cabinet to repaint due to the intricate stencils, but Gavin really nailed the stencil.

Yes great work by Tim, Stuart and Gav. I'm very happy with the cab to say the least.

On to the playfield now, cabs finished.

Time for a little update. This is probably my favourite stage of a restoration, when you start repopulating the back of the playfield with new globe holders and freshly zinced and cleaned assemblies.

Thanks Nino, I probably didn't have much choice with those 555 holders in my game, they were all very brittle and most were already broken. Swapping them out was defiantly the best thing for this game.

Just s little concerned for you on the ground soldering on the Lamp holders it looks like it has not 'wett' properly due to the plating. Did you get enough heat into them or scuff it first?

Hi Simon, thanks for the heads up. All good though, the solder and holders are well stuck together. There's no parting the two.

Some fantastic work Cashramp when you look back to the original photos.  How good's the feeling to look at the before and after photos and think, "Yep all those hours were worth it!"
