Amazing development. Python was a genius, and seeing the game go into production would be a fitting tribute to his legacy.

I would consider this game for purchase for sure.

It is so different you should not lose money on them. I doubt they would ever run a second batch they could be a rare sought after game in years to come much like BBB. So unique. If i had the spare cash i would definately buy one.

I played the proto a couple years back at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and it is a great novelty game that draws attention for sure.

I know they want to keep it as close to Python's original vision as possible but the machine is just crying out for mirrors on the inner sides and some coloured neon tubing.

Those that have played it - would you think it a plus 10k machine though?

I don't reckon its being aimed for the average punter / collector.

There are probably a handful of serious collectors here and in NZ that would happily stump up that money for a Python epic like that.

Probably the same over in the USA / Europe.  Probably just a boutique run of machines but best of luck to the team doing it.

Neat looking game, the offset flippers will take some getting used to. It looks pretty repetitive and maybe would need additional coding to make it more of a player than a novelty if and when they reproduce it. The elephant toy is a neat feature.

Those that have played it - would you think it a plus 10k machine though?

It's too shallow in terms of rules compared to a regular mid to late 90's style pinball machine.

I can't see commercial quantities of these selling at $10k.

Unless that is they want to market it as purely a collector's piece - stick a numbered plaque on it and do a small run of 200 or so never to be rerun.

Then you might be able to achieve a high price point.

The golden ingredient to selling a marginal product like this.. determine your outlay.. determine your numbers and price and then make it strictly limited numbered production.. will sell out before its made and healthy profit guaranteed.
The record industry did it for decades and its a win win for those who produce
