Answers to questions:
* Yes, it's a new translite sitting under 5mm tempered glass made to size.
* No lighting 'cos it adds to the cost & complexity, power cords are a trip trap, rechargeables could be good if you
really want lighting.
* Wood is all re-used 20mm MDF glued & screwed in the corners and through the table top.
* Siderails held on with foam double sided, then the legs go on and lock everything in place.
* Legs are cut down, one bottom flap folded in 90 deg. then drilled & tapped 3/8" UNC for the levellers which are then nutted & fitted in the usual way so they work.
* Standard leg bolts go through pre-drilled holes with nuts & heavy washers on the inside. This brings great strength when tightened up, but means the mitre gapping gets tricky.
* I'll ask $300 for the STTNG table when it's done.
Fair bit of work, but you get a table solid as a brick outhouse . . .
