lockdown bar adjustment
« on: July 18, 2014, 08:34:27 PM »
I have one lockdown bar lever that has a hair trigger. All of my other games the lockdown lever is quite firm to lock the and when retracted, remains retracted.

This one on my tom when I retract it and let go, tries to go back to the lock position, only to be stopped by the lockdown bar. Problem is it makes it impossible to remove the bar. So you need to hold it in the release position with one hand and remove the bar with the other.

Is there an adjustment process to firm up the lever and still enable it to lock the bar? I recall firming the nut on the lever but then it was impossible to engage it to lock. But I can't remember for sure.

you're a super star. Did the trick I think as I've had a couple of drinks. The right hand one seemed to do the job more so than the left one. Do each of these screws have a specific purpose like the right for keeping it retracted and the left in the closed position? If anyone can confirm would be great. Thanks
