Can't recall exactly what I did - but I'm sure you gave me spares and I simply repaired them ? I may have cut the old ones short and drilled a hole at each end. They are just Bakerlite strips - you could make them out of plastic if you needed to.

The Stargate Glider craft scissor assy features 6? links that are 3-3/16 inch and one has broken?
Best to take off a non broken link and fashion something out of plastic. Try Spotlight, hobby shop etc. The reason it is made out of Bakerlite was Gottlieb used that material for decades prior to 95' in things like flipper button housings. Another form of plastic should be fine. The one that is currently sold out that you are referring to didn't actually fit! It was modified to fit. Try the GOTTLIEB FLIPPER LINK 2-1/4" A12047. There is one there for $3.36 and see if that fits. Or just make something yourself and spray it brown to match?

Got the flipper link.
I have removed the glider craft unit.
My next problem is the rivets.Do I grind or drill them out?And what do you replace them with?I am thinking nyloc nuts and bolt but it may be too large, it has to have a  small profile.
I hope the attachments have attached.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks
Scott

I drilled out the rivets and then refitted with a bolt and nut. The nut had to face down so it didn't interfere with the movement of the assembly.

Hi-I decided not to drill out the rivets and try and stick the link back together and support it with a piece of flipper link araldited to the original.I am hoping this will hold up.
Have played half a dozen games and it seems to be OK.Hope this helps anybody with the same problem.
Thanks for the help.Cheers Scott.

Looks like it could do the trick. Test out the glider craft in test mode for 3 mins, see if it holds up to that. Mine broke at the end connecting to the glider craft toy. Yours is smack bang load bearing territory. See how she goes.

So good so far. Does not look pretty. If it breaks again I will drill out rivets and make a new link.
