Hmmm.....

Starting to wonder if it even has the right power supply in it ?  @.@

Is that one the same as yours dealers choice ?
If not are you able to take a pic of your please  %$%

Welcome to the world of project pinballs.

That's the wrong power supply. 500-5000-00 is an early power supply (alphanumeric) definitely not suited to your machine. you need a 500-5047-03 - which is the last used for this platform. I've seen early power supplies modified, and they seem to work. Check the cabinet wiring to the DMD as I believe that in some cases the AC HV return is changed at CN1. Just double check with the schematics AFTER you have decided to replace the power supply with the correct one. rottendog made a solid board compatible with this game.

CN3 - is just some funky wiring - a hack, or shortcut, rather than a repair !

Yeah there's some interesting "quick fixes" I can see  @.@

I've found this board on Evilbay, but the postage drives the price up heaps, especially after converting to AUD.

The seller has had very good feedback for them.

Before you go looking on flea bay etc. Why don't you ask the question here in the trader section under parts wanted. I've got a few parts like that

Cheers again for that dealers choice  ^^^

I've put up a wanted request for the power supply, keep forgetting about that section  @.@

Ill most likely have to go over all the wires as someone may have changed things around when they put the power supply that's in it  &^&

Finally got around to buying a power supply for this, I bought it last week and should arrive end of next week.

I ended up getting one from evilbay:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221690773472?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I found and read his feedback from other buyers that bought the same power supply and they're all saying good things (Fingers crossed)

I'm looking for to seeing if this thing fires up  :D

One I know it works and find any faults, i'l start to tare down.

There shouldn't be much work as far as the playfield goes, just allot of cleaning.
The cabinet in a mess though and will need a few repairs and some paint done.
Hopefully the brown isn't hard to get matched.
Does anyone else know of a good match ?

Maybe the colour's  'Mission Brown' or a nice Kiwi Brown shoe polish colour.  :tumble:
I remember I just got some watercolours and mixed up the right shade for the few little marks on mine.
I hope you get her going soon, it's a really fun game. I recently had my Power supply board rebuilt and now Mav plays perfectly so I hope it fixes yours up too!

The new power supply arrived today  #@#

I had to do a little wire work so I happy enough to test the machine, turned it on......
AND IT WORKS !!  $#$
Including the DMD  :D

Had a little game and everything seems to be working except as you can see in the picture below, Frankenstein is on the DMD instead of Maverick  *!@

Is this just one of the IC chips that needs to be changed ?
