Should a multi levelled playfield pinball game be made again ?

An example of one of the best games ever made was Black Knight 2000 (1991) by the King, Steve Ritchie.
If u have ever played a Black Knight 2000, you will know the 2 level playfield design was brilliant and also very easy to service and maintain. It also is a excellent game to play with fantastic music and a great lightshow.

Should Stern or JJP or other manufacturers bring back a 2 level playfield design again ??
A std or widebody design would work today.
The design of a 2 level playfield loses no playfield real estate surprisingly.

What game would you like to see done like the Black Knight 2000 layout.
Imagine a Twilight Zone or a Addams Family or ??? title being done in a 2 level style playfield ??
( I don't consider a Congo or a CFTBlack Lagoon or the new ACDC Premium or TBLebowski to be a real 2 level playfield design) , not like BK2000 was.

If we don't have a BK2000 style game ever made again, should Stern or JJP do remakes like Medievil Madness is being redone ?

What would you want to see remade or reinvented as a 2 level playfield? Or what remake title would you buy if they made it brand new in box ?  Maybe remakes or a 2 level style playfield game would make u buy a brand new in box game.

Any ideas or suggestions. Agree or disagree ??

If somebody was going 2 level, I'd rather under the main playfield Black Hole style
IMHO upper playfield never really added any rt thing to the game that could not have been done on a single level

Agree with Pete on this, i would love to see a modern pin with a lower playfield like Black Hole or Haunted House with bumpers, drops and saucers.

I like my upper playfields to have long shots, I dont mind (actually i like them) small upper playfields like Shadow, twilight, WoZ, Simpsons and the like but i am not a fan of large ones like Black Knight, Haunted House and so on.

Don't care who builds it as long as it is done well.

I think it would be cost prohibitive in today's market. I'd like to see it, but something has to make room - and it would most likely be ramps. Street Fighter II had ramps and a mini playfield - it kinda worked.

The big four titles ever made are ;

Addams Family
Eight Ball
Flash
Playboy

These are classics. Addams should be remade, but can't be due to 3rd party licenses.

The three SS machines should be left as is. Not remade. They are classics and must be left that way.

If you are just talking about DMD games, I personally don't like remakes of games that have already been produced.

If u owned your own plane, wouldn't u hijack it yourself for a bit of fun every now and again.... Lol

So far, it seems people aren't liking remakes. Oddly, I thought it would have been the opposite ....

See if anyone else thinks any SS or DMD models should be remade? ?
