Gee.  If Flashback was in a basement on Swanson St (now Arthur Daley's $2 shop), and the place on Bourke St opposite the cinemas was Timezone, I'm getting old!  I could have sworn Flashback was the multi level place on the south side of Bourke St (apparently Timezone). !@#

The other place on Elizabeth St was opposite the GPO I believe.  But it my memory is that bad, then it could have been near the Vic Market

Strangeways: Where was Fiorentinos?

PS.
The last of the old arcades, a video only arcade on the north side of Bourke Street between Russell and Swanson Streets, closed down about two months ago.  See what happens when you don't have pinball!!

"Fiorentino's" was the cafe that was known to locals as "24 Hours". Cabs used to frequent the establishment because it was open 24 hours. It was opposite an old building that looked like a hall or cinema. It is more or less at the top of the hill. It was at 221 High st Northcote.

I've read through the thread and can't recall seeing orbit mentioned. Or did that come after the 70s ?
I'm not cranky, I just want MORE pins!
