Now THIS is how to pack a Pinball machine
« on: November 12, 2014, 08:14:46 PM »
I've been looking forward to this restoration straight after the High Hand - One is a GTB "Sky Jump" and the other is the "add a ball" version - "Free Fall". I'm PUMPED to be doing these as I will restore my Sky Jump at the same time. After an email exchange with the WA based pinhead and some VERY good work by the Perth guys (Joe Tripoli at KJWHF) - we have a perfectly packed set of wedgeheads.

THIS is how to pack a pinball (or two) for transport !

One of those days when you just can't wait to start, but it has to be put aside (after unpacking).

These will both be NIB (Nearly In Box) restorations. Can't wait !

This was a recent effort of mine - it's actually a pretty big job when you are not a pro like Strangeways.

Picture is titled "bye bye Spirit"

How could you???!!!

Several reasons -

1. Fun game but did not have the "gotta play that again" factor for me;
2. With the very little around for this game restoring it to the standard I would like would have been difficult, and not worth it - see point 1;
3. My tastes were evolving more towards the nineties DMD;
4. But most of all - unsolicited request to sell from a semi-famous person with a cheque book big enough to make me think that I would rather have a Monster Bash.
