Unplanned Mimi-meet
« on: November 16, 2014, 10:07:57 PM »
Here’s something you don’t see every day – the country’s two top restorers in the one room playing your games (including some they have restored or assisted with).

Good news is all games performed well, no “Broken” notes, even the system 80 Gottlieb Black Hole never missed a beat...   &&

With Eltimbo & Strangeways is Stuart, who is Tim’s “King of Clear”, a professional painter turned restorer and cabinet maker and now full on pinhead.

The guys had a bunch of game and cabinet and parts etc swaps and drop offs today, and we took some time out  for a few games.

I scored a new game from Strangeways which I will detail shortly.

Always a fun trip down to Geelong. Had a ball - checked out Stu's and Timbo's facilities and was blown away by the setup these guys have. Popped into Daniel's as well - always fun to check out his "Museum".

Next time I might pop down there a bit earlier. I had a cracker of a game on the MM. Top game !

As soon as I get it set up you will be the second to know.

First will be my wife who I have learned that despite having no interest in pinball, she recognizes every game I own or have owned and knows their history and about what I owe on the game. Last time I sneaked one in was just that - the last time I sneaked one in.

Look forward to hearing what game it is. Your games always play well so no excuses for players who may not have scored well on the night.
Still loving my Metallica Premium
