Flash Gordon flipper problem

Hi Guys,

I was having a game on my Flash Gordon machine a few days ago when the 2 right hand side flippers died on me. I've checked all fuses and even swapped them out just to be sure as well as checked the cabinet switches and re seated connectors in the Headbox. Wiring to the coils is also fine and intact. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hope it something simple, haven't had any thing like that happen to my FG, might be something on the power board.

Things to check for:

EOS switch on the bottom flipper not making contact (most likely, try pushing it together while activating the flipper button - watch your fingers!)
Blown lower flipper coil (check resistance and compare with the working flipper)
Cabinet switch not making contact (contacts can 'fall out' of the blade)
Bad connector on the SDB - check the schematics and see where the power for the lower flipper comes from

Thanks for that, I'll work my way through your suggestions tomorrow. I need to get a new multimeter as well, It's not reading correctly.

Bad batterys in a multimeter will make it give weird readings.

Thanks Dan, I hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a go before I chuck it over the fence.
