Just a quick RTBB order story......

I placed an order last Friday, and as always remembered a few hours later that I forgot to include some items  @.@.

I sent an e-mail to Nino, begging for forgiveness, and asking if I could include the other items with my order. Got a prompt reply, and yesterday got an email advising that the combined orders had been posted. This morning at 10.30 the order arrived at my door, which is super fast as usually things take a bit longer to get to Canberra.

It's probably been said before, but Nino, you're doing an awesome job!! I really appreciate that you took on RTBB, as it was always my go to place to get parts.  ^^^ ^^^ ^^^

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks Andy - It has been an interesting start to the process. I'm glad that most customers are happy. There have been a few that have ordered and then demanded that I ship on the same day - I know why Greg would sometimes go on Fishing Trips.

Ramps that have just arrived ;

Scared Stiff - Bat Ramp
Scared Stiff - Main Ramp
ST TNG Delta
ST TNG Alpha
Addams Family

Several more arriving next week / week after

CFTBL Bowl
IJ Main
ST TNG Beta

Lots of new releases have arrived (parts). Some really cool stuff that i will load up as soon as bling photos done !

Nino, I don't know who has the rights to demo man ramps but if you ever get a chance to stock some it might pay you to grab them (basically all of them are hard to get except the under p/p popper) - I think you'd move them on pretty quick. It may be the case nobody is making repros yet but most of the NOS are gone & there's very few dm's around without at least one cracked or chipped ramp.

It all depends on the tooling. If the original tooling is still in existence, then Starship Fantasies should have the moulds. I can ask James if the moulds exist. If the tooling is not available, then if there is demand, then they can be made. There's a lot of organizing to do when reproducing a ramp. Quality is the biggest concern, and PinballInc & Starship Fantasies will only release a quality product.

Thanks Nino - interesting to hear how this works - I could never work out why it's possible to find a full ramp set for, for example, Dr Who, but nada for Demo Man.

Hi Nino,

Any chance of RTBB becoming a distributor for silicon rubbers of all sizes =9]http://www.titanpinball.com/products_results.php?Search=1&ProductCategoryID[]=9  ?

I would be interested in giving these a go

Possibly.

I say that because I THOUGHT I had been in touch with all the suppliers that RTBB were already Distributor with. Seems there were more that were in the pipeworks that I recently found out about. I need to catch up with the others first, but anything is possible.

A local distributor for ColorDMD would be great - postage kills these, and now with the $A if you order 2 you're over $1000 and liable for GST, so it offsets the postage saving. They are coming out with many more titles this year so ai'm sure would sell well.

Ohhh yeah, that would be fantastic. Maybe if Nino could get a commitment from a few people he might be able to get a bulk discount of we got 20, 30 or even 50 people interested?

Oh and while he is at it, maybe look at the pinsound boards....

We'd be in for colordmd's and pinsounds too. Great ideas if economies of scale could be had. Heck even pdi optical glass would be a killer option ;)

ColorDMD. +1

Only a matter of time before I get one for TSPP....Once that happens, i'll want one for AC/DC and Metallica.....then Tron and Family Guy whenever they make them in the future. Food for thought, Nino.

There's already some movement on these products, but I need time, time, time and time !

Sounds good! I'm saving my pennies for a ColorDMD. This plan could come together.
