Im very suprised that a different multi meter gave different results? I only spent $100 on mine should i go buy a Fluke or not?
It has got me as well. New batteries in it, exact same transistor and both with different readings (although Daves is giving correct)....
Also has new leads on DMM as well.
When I got home, I went back to my p.o.s $6.00 bunnings one and it was giving correct readings (using leads off the other unit)....So I really don't know.
Mine was only a mid-range one from Jaycar....Going to the bin now.
I don't know if I can justify spending $300.00 on a Fluke, as much as I want too.....
