Bay Watch price check and what's it like

Hi Guys
My mate has seen a Baywatch on gum tree and asked me whats it worth and how it plays. I know nothing about it other than it's one crappy looking translite.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Can't stand the show or the Hoff but there are some great shots in this game.
Worth checking out. 2k should pick one up.

He - there you go Tim - variety is certainly the spice of all things including pinball. I still think your mate would be better to add a few more dollars & get a great-playing pin with a cool theme. Certainly easier when it comes time to flip. What were they asking?

$2600 with a new $900  DM display installed. Not sure if it was negotiable and the pics weren't great which I always find a bit Suss.
Always the way with pinball one mans trash is another mans treasure. Just have to try it for yourself and make a call. I also find it always takes me time to get into a new pin so hard to judge from a few test games.

I had one and bought it for $1900 and did a shop, with flipper rebuild, targets rebuilt, all new playfield plastics and a few minor mods (2 x yellow globe covers, shark, mirror blades and copter) but a forced sale a while back getting $2.2k and it was in pretty good condition. $2.5-$2.6 top price if nothing to do as all pins have gone up a few hundred in the last 12 months. $2.9k is a little high for what the game is (reputation) but if you get a new screen it would give some relief to not having to worry about out laying for one as only 4 segas use the larger dmd and it is always a concern if it fails.

It has 3 different skill shots and a real challenge to get the skill shot super bonus getting all 3 skill shots in one game (one on each ball), as well as some good shots and a bit to the rules as I never every saw the earth quake mode. It is a cheesy theme but a good fun player.

I picked a Baywatch up just the other week, thought it would be a pretty average game but its really started to grow on me.
Like any pinball out there, you really need to study the rule set, otherwise most of the games would become boring if your just smacking the ball around & not know what to aim for.

What's yr prob - he's a star in Germany. Ever since the drunk eating of a hamburger incident he's been a legend. I think the hoff is the cooler bit of the game in a 90's cheesy way - he adds more than the ruleset does.

I have owned Sterns in the past but the games they make now don't interest me much and the price they charge for them certainly doesn't interest me NIB. I will never say never on 2nd hand though.
Yeah I would buy a BW for 2k, play it and flip like I do with all games.
