Original Pricelist #2 - Pinball 1980
« on: August 07, 2015, 12:26:53 AM »
I thought I'd jump ahead 6 years to 1980. This pricelist is really interesting ;

I'm often asked how much NIB games cost back in the golden age of pinball. Here we are, smack bang in the middle of Pinball's Golden Age. These were RRP on games. They were not the prices Dad used to pay for the games as he bought directly from the Factory.

If we look at games produced in 1980 - all in US$ ;

Dolly Parton - $1795
Future Spa - $1495
KISS - That price may be for a NIB KISS at $995
Rolling Stones - $1950 (the worst playing and selling Bally of all time !)

Skateball is NIB
Eight Ball Deluxe is NIB

GTB Circus - $1895

Flash was still selling at $1095

You could buy a Nugent for $695 !

Flight 2000 and Feefall were new releases.

Dad told me that he was buying KISS NIB at US$695 in 1979 / 80. same for Paragon and Space Invaders.

It is still an interesting historical document of the distributor's pricelists back in the old days.
