Police force GI issues
« on: September 19, 2015, 07:05:19 PM »
Noticed I had no lights working under my slings and few other plastics
 Replaced globes and checked fuses.
I thought I would take a look at interconnect board. Unplugged J12 and the lights worked. Looked throug manual and realised one wire was in the wrong spot on the plug so I corrected it. It now seems I am missing a black violet wire for this plug.

Also looked at J11 and manual only shows 5 wires but i have way more than that on this plug.

Help!!!

Bumping this thread. Any ideas why half of my coils are not working? Outhole (drain hole) and two kickers. Slings are working

No coils work.  Just flippers and ball shooter.

do a solenoid test and see if any coils are firing or flashers
sounds like you have lost your 50v dc so check fuse F7 on the Aux driver board
if flippers are working then check F4

No coils firing on test. Flashers work.

really strange fault or faults you have. (sounds like i am imitating Yoda)
if you have flippers and F4 is ok then you should have at least the left and right slingshots.
check F1, F2A, F2C and F3.
are all the flashers working of just some?
one last thing i need you to do is when in coil test take note if any flashers are flashing when the test display shows a solenoid should be firing.

if this has happened  after you worked on the interconnect board then you may have disturbed some of the wires in a connector and they are no longer connecting or you may have some dry joints on the inter connector board

or coincidentally you have a problem with  the A/C relay on the Aux driver board,
