"Tommy" troubles

 A friend of mine has some issues with his "Tommy" machine. He says that the flippers, bumpers and kickers are all not working. He has checked the fuses and they're ok. Can someone tell me what the likely cause/s of this problem would be??? Thanks, Mark.

Start by getting out your multimeter.

Check for 50 volts at the coils.

Data east fuse holders are notorious for becoming weak and losing tension. 
Pressing down firmly on the fuse while in the holder to see if the holder breaks, is a good starting test.

Also reseat connector 19, (special solenoids) on the CPU board.

Thanks for that. I let him know your suggestions. ..... I should have said: the machine had been working perfectly for many years until this problem arose. ..... I'll post again when and if he works out what is going on here.

Fuses will be the first check, but I can almost guarantee the fuse holders on the PPB board, power supply and flipper PCBs will be the problem.

If any of these are weak, you probably need to replace them.
