system 7 lamp resistors
« on: March 20, 2016, 10:14:25 PM »
I have a hyperball machine where some of the feature lights come on (looks like a row or a column) once the machine has been on for a while. But the next days its fine again until it warms up.

I assume the red resistors need to be replaced as the heat is effecting them - can someone tell what value I should replace them with.

Aaaah... the 2W ones on the driver board.
These can get extremely hot and I have had them fall out of a board before as the solder melted.... yep, replace with 5W.

Resistors are not polarized, so can be fitted either way.
