Have to agree about the Jap ones. Our MB has a Taito sticker on the glass and looks really nice.

Dang - wish id known. For $3K id have snapped that baby up!

Let me know when you have a $3K CV... && &&

Lot more CFTBL produced than CV. B versus solid A list as well.

All comes down to the initial buy price anyway, so you never know.  ^^^

Had a Japanese WCS a few years ago that I restored which ended up getting traded around the pinball community. I would say most people here and on the other forum would have played it at one stage or another (since it has been traded all up and down the East Coast of Aus) without being aware of who did the initial resto work on it.  %$%

I thought Jap imports are the bees knees???

Might be - I've never bought an entire container from Japan. I have imported LCL, and they were not as good as the majority of games I've bought from Germany. Having said that, the last two containers from Germany were by far the best I've seen. The last German import was 50% from a spotter of mine, and those games were the best I've ever seen. Literally "From a private collection in Germany" - now you know where that saying comes from !

I purchased an EM/SS container from another country which had some absolutely mint games.

There are still many good games out there, the prices have gone up which has slowed things down a bit. I was recently offered a container from Japan, but it looked like they were all from the gamesroom of the nuclear plant that had the tsunami disaster.
