Mine must be worth $10k+ too as it has that patina also!  &&
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

you wonder if anything has been done

don't think so, flaking backglass in the top lhs, wrong cabinet colours and just general age wear

He forgot to do his research while it was being restored.. :)

How he came up with that price would be interesting to know!

Could it be that there's $8000 in the coin box and can't find the keys?  :lol

"Fully restored"...

Well.. it should read " fully touched up"

Check out the cab picture.. you can see where badly hand cut stencils have been applied and colour sprayed back on... Surfers body on RHS cab.. Oh, the smooth lines on the surf board... ladies legs on RHS header.
The blue goes over the amber on Surf Champ as the order of colour.. should never be amber overspray to blue.
Couple of bits of A4 paper+ pair of scissors + can of enamel from Bunnings + afternoons work= top end restoration.

That's one moronic seller. In the "surfing section" rather than coin op ? where do you start ? What an abomination.

I'd give $500 because it needs a lot of work.  !^!
