How many metres of flat tinned copper braid is need?
« on: July 25, 2016, 07:52:58 PM »
Probably a fact that people that do restorations know, but I was curious on how many feet / metres of flat tinned copper ground braid is needed for game for a full restoration:

Gottlieb 70's EM =

Bally 80's SS =

Bally 90's DMD =

any those who have down a restore help with some figures.

Johns arcades in brisbane has it. I got my last lot from him. Really rough numbers i would take a punt at 5 to 7m per machine for dmds. I just buy 30m or so and use it so never measured it exactly.

Yep and they always refund if the actual postage costs less than the quoted.
