It's been a while since the Perth crew had a gathering, so with a few changes to our lineup we hosted the gang here today, with the theme for the day being melons - Big Juicy ones.
First up was a one ball comp on Whoa Nellie, with low scores across the board. Travis was first on 589, Anthony second on 382, Michele third on 376 and with a score of just 21 was Tom in last place. Those players all received a custom jigsaw made by my brother and his wife at Ratbag Industries (look em up on Face-ache, sorry Facebook). There were mystery prizes (all melon related) for every competitor.
Next was a hole-in-one comp on NGG, where the sole aim was to make the hole-in-one shot (not an easy task) in 1 three ball game. Out of 24 players, only Anthony and Mark were successful, with Mark making the shot twice, and Anthony once.
Then we had a comp we called "2 Kisses" played on the original Bally Kiss machine and the new Stern Kiss LE, with both scores added together. Trophy for the winner and the Rusty Balls Award for the last place loser. Gibbo walked away with trophy once again, with a combined total of 124,749,260, while Adrian secured the Rusty Balls Award with a total score of 2,595,830.
It has to be mentioned that one of our long-time regular members, Max, bought along a friend who had never played pinball before, and with her first ball (Whoa Nellie) beat Max 205 to 64.
Thanks to everyone that came along and contributed to a successful day.
