Drop target mech was stripped, cleaned and rebuilt, new targets fitted.

They are the original timber guides, Cam clearcoated them while he was doing the playfield.

Some more progress pics;


Relay/mech panel refurbishment progress..


Before...









Parts removed, plywood panel sanded and cleared with satin clear, new relay labels.









Reassembled!












Tilt mech tidied up as well, its plywood panel got cleared too 









Backglass sealed with Triple Thick, some minor touchups done.


















Backbox insert panel shitboard had disintegrated in places so i had to do some repairs.









Replacement timber (i used plywood) cut and glued into place.
Filler applied and sanded to fill and smooth the gaps.















Primered and painted. I had to break out some heat lamps due to the weather turning to shit as i was getting ready to paint 









Ready to go back into the backbox 
I used old dead lamps to plug up the lamp sockets to keep the paint out

Yeah it's time consuming to do but looks nicer and they are easier to keep clean

Time for the final update on Card Whiz!!


Some progress pics;


I made up some new warning/adjustment labels from scans, cleaned up the images, printed and laminated them.












Coin door tidied up; dismantled, regrained front skin, innards cleaned up and polished up 














Chime box refurbished;

and AFTER.. New coils and rubber grommets fitted.











Playfield installed back into the cabinet after repairing all of the lamp sockets and refurbishing all of the mechs was completed.









After a few days of testing and some final adjustments, the game is completed finally.. except for new plastics which Cam has ordered from PBR.


The game has now left the building, picked up last Sunday    Time to start on the next one!
