WE'RE HERE!
« on: May 16, 2009, 07:56:05 AM »
Dudes, 10 hours later the Nug, the game, and the, um me, are here. Just slept in the hardest bed ever invented. Two singles pushed together to look like a double. Woke up in the crack!

(And before any of you smart-a$$es comment, Nug had his own sleeping quarters! :)

I'm excited, so went down to the lobby of Hotel Dodgy (can't remember what it's actually called, but it is dodgy!) to see what's happening on Australia's best forum. Been over to the car to check the game is OK. All cool!

When we arrived last night we decided we needed some brown sleeping pills, so found a local a hundred metres up the street. While we were waiting for our medication I told Nug I could smell a pin (I can usually sniff them out, sight unseen). Sure enough, found a Medievel Madness and we proceeded to rack up some games. Nug thrashed me (the benefit of having slept half the f*cking way while I sang along to Andre Bottelli to keep awake - wife's car, wife's CD collection - bugger). Then we found an Indie 500 and it was my turn to show Nug how it's done. Left that game with 1 1/2 credits on it and retired back to our scary looking accomodation.

Time to head back upstairs and wake Nug up so we can get over to Expo - can't wait to meet some of you guys!

A bit of an adventure, hey Nick ? In years to come, you will remember the memories of this trip, and every time you play the game, it will bring back those happy memories.

Say "Hello" to everyone - I expect reports and pictures over the next couple of days.

Now they have the banner, they could tour Melbourne! Get that ball save on there first - missing the skill shot can have evil consequences.

Apparently there was more publicity than we realized.
