System 1 drop target switches
« on: November 03, 2017, 04:43:52 PM »
Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the part number is for the 2 different switches used on system one drop target banks? I need to replace a few on the Count-Down I'm restoring but the number for either switch isn't in the 1980 Parts Catalog that I have.

One switch type sits behind each of the targets below the playfield (4 per target bank on Count-Down) and the other (1 of) comes up through the playfield and sits behind a rebound rubber behind the targets when they drop.

Hi mate are yours missing altogether? If not, I have rebuilt  these if needed previously. If they are missing let me know I might have some.

Thanks Nick, it’s mainly the one that comes up through the playfield behind the targets that are the issue. Of the 4 target banks 3 of them have a leaf broken off and the 4th has dropped a contact. The switches behind the targets may come up ok with a bit of a clean but I’ve only done the one bank so far so I’m not 100% sure yet.

Can you attach a photo Adam ? I'll see if there's anything suitable I can assist with.

Will do, thanks Nino. I’m in Melbourne until Monday night so I’ll take some pictures when I get home.

I have a scrapped count down playfield that I might have some of those parts if you want them?
