I wish i had the correct paint codes for this
and i totally understand why people just paint it what they like

must be a secret just disappointed as it is only just paint

I just take the cabinet to my paint supplier and get the colours matched and mixed.. easy peasy and they usually get the match pretty damn close. 90% of the time i'm doing a total repaint so it doesn't have to match 100% i tell them.

That blue you've chosen looks pretty good to me, i'd be happy with it. I have a Fathom coming up in the queue for a repaint in the next few months myself!

They also provide the correct finish as well as subtle details. An example is the purple fleck in the grey on a Quicksilver base. I was shocked at how right the color match and finish was.

Metal removed from your eye ? Damn. Are you all good now ? I once accidentally sprayed thinner in my eye and just the mist was so painful !

Having a rusty steel shard pulled out of your eyeball is something you never forget.

Eye is sort of ok .
had to go to a specialist in the end on Tuesday so it has been mucked around with again.

I suppose as you get older it takes more time to heal.

Fitter and machinist  so I have had this happen before  over a 30 + years in thè trade.

Will hopefully have the cab undercoted .
And maybe the first coat of blue..

Still plugging away on the cab

Every weekend it has been raining. Doh

Have made some progress after work.
Most days I finish at 5.30pm.
So it has been bloody frustrating as I would of liked to have the base colour on it.
