Here's the info from Bumper's email for Faith this week:

PINBALL FAITH IS THIS FRIDAY 7PM
Right here at Bumper Action
7pm-11pm at 566 City Rd Sth Melb.

Now this month we have a real treat for anyone thinking of coming to Pinball Faith. We are presenting for the first time in Melbourne, Australia's first ever home built, commercial pinball machine, Coconut Island.

This pinball is an extraordinary achievement by Christian (nuggy) and his partner in crime Nick (pinnies for me). Extraordinary for the software and operating system has been designed totally from the ground up (rather than just use existing boards and change the artwork on a machine) to present an entirely original pinball machine that uses a system where by other pinball machines can be easily designed and produced.

Coconut Island is a full scale production with upper mini playfields, ramps, great working toys, lots of modes(mini games) and a very cool and original playfield design.

Do not miss this chance to see a piece of history born this Friday at the Faith. The boys will be here to talk a little about the design and answer any questions you may have and of course you can have a game or three on this wonderful Australian achievement. It will only be here for the night.

Naturally all the fun of Pinball Faith will be provided as usual. Wall to wall pinball machines on free play, heaps of arcades and driving games, tons of pizzas, drinks, competitions, prizes, trophies, and lots more for the whole family.

$20 adults, $10 kids under 13, $50 the family (2 adults 3 children).

Call (03) 9696 9690 for details.

Yes, thanks for everyone who turned up.  It was a great night and I did so much socializing we forgot to run the comp. Coconut island was fantastic and was very well received! It was nice to see lots of fellow pinheads coming out and enjoying a game or three on this remarkable achievement.

Good work Nick and Nuggy!

I was glad to have a chance to have a few more games on it, and like the improvements since playing it in Sydney... There's something about your machine though, I think it hates me  %$%

One day I'll actually have a decent game on it...
