Apology
« on: August 04, 2009, 10:57:45 AM »
Hey all,

As some of you may have noticed, I have not been on the forum much lately, and as a result of my absence some of the lists I was managing have not been updated. I would like to apologise to the forum for this, but unfortunately I have lost my enthusiasm for pinball & arcade so I needed a break. I would like to thank Evro for picking up the reigns on the Pinball Owners List. I hope it will be OK with the admins/moderators if I just lurk here, I still love the forum but just can't find the motivation or desire to switch on or even look at my machines at the moment.

Matthew

Hey Matt, sorry to hear that mate, I understand totally because I went through the same thing in 1992 and parted out a perfectly working GTB Volley among others  *.*
Please know that when you decide to come back you are more than welcome to take over management of the Pinball Owners list  ^^^

Have a good break and we hope to see you at the other end :)

Amazing how many of us go through this.

I was exactly the same a few years back - couldnt be bothered with them at all.
Sometimes I think it is because we eat, sleep, think pins and pin stuff all day and night that it ends up getting to that point  !@#

Take your break , take your time and you WILL enjoy them again.

No need to apologize, Matt - as others have said, we all need a break sometimes and priorities do change from time to time. You do a super job with the Owner's list and machine list. I think we all look forward to adding our new acquisitions to your lists.

Evro kindly offered his time to maintain the lists - Thanks Evro  ^^^

Matt - You will rekindle your interest in the hobby, and we will still be here when you do - It was nice to briefly share a laugh at the PSP/Childs Meet !

No need for any apology Matthew.

We all loose the mojo from time to time - I bought a new house beginning of this year with the great big pinball room - and then had no interest at all to play them! But a few months later it came back, bigger than ever. Hope the same for you.

Been going through the same shit Matt, trying to get back to basics, still deciding whether or not I will have commercial involvement. Happy to be just one of the regular enthusiasts at this stage.

Take a break, you will be back %$%
