Hi All
« on: August 30, 2009, 10:21:04 PM »
I was on the net searching for Gottlieb Genie and one of the places it sent me to was Wattos web page which had the link to this site. After reading Wattos story i found out that we live in a small world as i attended the same high school at a similar time and fondly remember the Engadine Liesure centre he takes about.

My story - I grew up on the NSW South Coast and moved several years ago into the Sutherland Shire. I have enjoyed all forms of gaming all my life , from pinballs to hand held game and watch units and everything in between.

I currently have two Gottlieb EM machines Wild Life and Grand Slam. Both machines have issues as they have been in storage for several years unused. I am unsure whether when both are going whether i will sell one or both. I thinking of buying machines that i remember from my youth ie Mustang (1st machine i remember playing) , Mati Hari , Lost World , Genie , Joker Poker.  One project i want to do is build (maybe buy if time does not permit )a lowboy mame machine .  After reading several post on this site i have already found several good tips to help me restore these machines . Will do as i much as i can myself and seek help if needed.

                                     Cheers Ken...

Welcome Ken,

Good to see another old ELC person here.
Another AP member –Freeplay-  also used to haunt the place and we have been able to catch up again thanks to this hobby.
I see U are still in the Shire, you should get along to one of Rollerballs next meet at Heathcote, right next to our old school ( the old brick pits ) – they are GREAT nights and he has awesome machines from our ‘youth’

Hope U enjoy the time here at AP and contact me anytime if ya want some help re Mame etc.
