Where to get pinball fuses ??

Had the neighbours kids over tonight and turned the pinnies on for them to have a bash . When I turned on the Lucky 7 the tilt horn sounded and the game lost sound and doesn't kick the ball into the shooter lane . (I'm not sure if the neighbours young fella had the Start button or a flipper button pushed in at the same time as I turned it on and this caused the problem or something else).
Anyhow I discovered it has blown a fuse . According to the chart in the backbox it is a :

28 VDC
2.5 AMP
SL - BL

I am assuming this is a 28 volt dc fuse set to 2.5 amps and is a slow blow type ???

Main thing I want to know is where do you get these fuses from . Are they easily available from electronic / electrical suppliers or not ???

Don't worry about the voltage, just go to Jaycar or wherever, grab 240 volt 2.5 amp slow blow

Damn- thought I had one I could send U  - just checked - no go.
I have 2A slo's and 3a slos but not 2.5 

Jaycar sells quite a few fuses I noticed when I got some 5A slo blos last week

Thanks for the offer Wotto but it's OK . I'll get some at the weekend just 'wanted to save time and go to the right place first . Been pretty lucky up until now . This is the first ever fuse that has blown in any of the pins I have owned.

Jaycar do sell slo blows but didn't stock the 2.5 amp when I checked.  I had to get them from a specialist pinball place or the states.

Just checked my stash, and none Steve. Like i said try a 3amp fast blow, may hold until you can get a 2.5 SB.

Whilst digging around I found these fuses, they are pretty old, and are solid white inside. Any chance these are slow blo?

Had the same probelm - Jaycar dont stock 2.5A Sloblo - oddly enough - Dicky Smith did! They were down in between the Rc mini helicopter and LED change colour bedside lamp... which is just past the battery operated massager

Slow Blow fuses usually have the markings on one of the ends indicating they are either "timed" or "slow blow".

A "timed" 2.5A is: T2.5A.
While a 2.5A Slow Blow can be a few different markings, but usually MDL2.5A.

Either way, Slow Blow or Timed have one of 3 fuse wire types: A white string with a spring wrapped all around it, a wire with 2 bubbles on it, or a spring that goes half way then a wire for the rest.

Those solid white fuses make it really hard to tell what they are exactly, and if they have blown.

The white fuses are 'anti-flame' types designed to prevent a fire when they rupture. Some are ceramic, some are filled with a sand-like material. Either way they prevent sparks and flames when rupturing in a catastrophic overload situation - they are commonly used in microwave ovens where a fault can cause massive currents to flow.
