My printer & myself are getting back to doing playfields that have stacked up in my basement the last 2 years. We both have had family or personal health problems, & the printer moved locations & had a change of staff. Also it was a learning experience with clear coats over the last few years. About 20 playfields, Sorcerer, Space Shuttle, High Speed, Eight Ball Deluxe, Star Gazer, & Capt. Fantastic. For those that haven't heard modern uv inkjet printers can do awesome work if you can find a willing printer. We are getting back to finishing Sorcerer playfields first, which have alignment problems with light lenses. The art was redone from a playfield, & unfortunately Williams Sorcerer playfields don't seem close for light lense placement.
I am just starting the clear coat process with varethane waterbourne gloss, many coats over uv ink, & then 2 coats of DuPont at the body shop. Have a look at the pictures & don't be to concerned with ink banding. When everything is done with clear coats they look great. The playfields that have come in are wornout bad or trash, so you be the judge with the results.
