How about some new themes?
« on: December 29, 2009, 08:14:06 AM »
Hey Admins
As much as Black and Grey are ever so sexy, there are times I find this board hard to read
How about some new themes/ color schemes for the forum layout?  ^^^

Pete

Try this ;

Go into your profile, click "look and layout preferences" and you should see a "change theme" button in the top LHS.

It is not there

I use another forum that uses the SMF software, I can find the setting on that forum, it is not an option that even appears on this board

I dare say that you have set it up so that Admin can change themes, but all other user catagories cannot

You could be right there. I'll have Tony have a look at it - Might need something changed that I'm not familiar with.

The forum has been setup to have 1 theme only. It cannot be changed except by the admins. In the last few weeks I have started to have a look at alternative themes for the very reason Pinky specified.

Stay tuned...

Gee whizz, there are even darker ones than what AP is using !*!

This may not have been the best idea, it seems that some themes cease to work when you upgrade the forum software

It is a bit easily on the eye I think. Creech will probably announce some of the other benefits later.
