TZ clock help.
« on: January 19, 2010, 03:31:03 PM »
Hi,  just for something different, I am having issues with my clock.  The clock will only move forward at fast speed in any test mode and is otherwise not working, other than at startup where it turns at the same fast speed and stops when it feels like. Changing the speed and direction in test has no effect.  All the optos register correctly in the test and the clock was tested in another machine and worked. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Still struggling with this.  I have tested the motor board in another machine and it also works fine.  The clock still moves forward only in test and does so as soon as you enter test mode, even when test mode says it is stopped.  Any ideas on where i should test next?

Might pay just to recheck the two connectors on the base of the clock are plugged in correctly?

Not 1 pin off or 1 row forward/backward.

Its easy to do (from personal experience).

Checked the plugs and they are in ok.  I am going to replace the connectors to the motor board.  Any other ideas appreciated
