My new Ice Cold Beer is home in the games room!
« on: March 12, 2010, 09:21:43 PM »
Well, my Ice Cold Beer is home.  Many thanks to John for his hospitality and a VERY kind member who helped me today! (BIG thanks  $#$  )

I'm not sure whether I can PM Marty Machine to add the ICB to my collection.  It doesn't appear on IPB so what is it exactly.

Does it have a pinball (smaller). YES.
Does it have flippers.  NO.

Very cool machine and in exceptional condition.

Heres my upright from 1951.. is only 1 of 2 that exist.

Nope not a pinball, but a redemption machine. You can clock up some 999 credits on mine which you are meant to swap for beers at the bar. The reset button is at the top and if pressed to reset it has to go through ALL 999 numbers to get back zero.. takes ages!

When i saw the "Ice Cold Beer"  i did have fanciful thoughts of having a "grandson" machine next to it... LOL.. yours is a bit more interactive than mine

That looks very cool Gav.  Definitely the grandpa of my ICB...

Mine has the ticket dispenser too...

I forgot to add, it also has a tilt mechanism.  Not sure if that changes anyone's vote!

Very very happy indeed.  Just got it fired up and WOW...Quite difficult to play.  The missus (wifey now) will love it.

Just need to work out what the redeemed tickets will buy...   *)*

If another one comes up Daniel (or a Zeke's Peak which is its tamer little bro version) you've got to get one!  Your shed is screaming for it and its soooo addictive.

A really nice game - and I think it would be a real challenge after a few brews !

Really nice machine, wish i had one hehehehe.

I think this warrants a new 'owners list' to cater for all the non-pinball stuff we all have...
A list where we can add pachinko machines, video/mame cabs etc...

The redemption tickets which the game has are labeled 'Taito West World'.  I don't know if these are generic Taito tickets or whether there was an arcade called 'West World'?   *!@
